School Garden Consultation
We would love to come check out your school spaces and talk about the perfect garden set up and arrangement for your school! We are located in Austin, TEXAS so this is for schools near Austin/San Antonio areas. (See below for options for schools not in this area.) We will discuss the goals for your school and what you would like to see growing. We will give our professional advice on what will work best for your school garden plan. After we meet, we will send you a free quote for the cost of the design and build out of your garden space.
Build the Garden
We can do it all from start to finish! We can prepare the garden site, construct the garden beds, bring in a high quality, organic soil and compost, and finalize preparation of the beds for planting.
If you would like to be part of the building process, we can work out a plan for that as well.
Plant the Garden
We can plant seeds or seedlings of organic vegetables based on the current season depending on what is available and what would be best for your students. We can also set up a planting day with your students. This is our favorite way to do this. Then we provide you with simple instructions for watering, fertilization, and harvesting.
Teach Science in the Garden
We love teaching students in the garden! We are excited to lead your students in fun, educational experiences in a garden classroom.
We will come to your school or homeschool space for a full school day and teach our unique, hands-on garden focused TEKS based science curriculum to your students.
